Born in Asti, he graduated with full marks at the Conservatory of Turin with Prof. Moyso. He continues his studies with Maestro Lowe, the Rossini repertoire with the tenor Raul Giménez and currently studies with the tenor Jorge Ansorena. He attended the Academy of the Rossini Opera Festival in Pesaro (2005) for the role of Cavalier Belfiore in Il Viaggio a Reims under the direction of Maestro Alberto Zedda. Winner of the “Alfano” competitions in Sanremo for the role of Conte d’Almaviva (2005) and the 60th “Belli” of Spoleto chaired by soprano Raina Kabaivanska. In the main Italian Opera Bodies he sang: Elisir d’Amore (Nemorino); The World of the Moon (Ecclitic); Purcel’s Dido and Aeneas (Marinaio / Stregone)), Cosi fan tutte (Ferrando); La Dirindina by Scarlatti; Finta Giardiniera (Il Podestà); Il matrimonio segreto (Pauline); The Capulets and the Montagues (Tebaldo); Lucrezia Borgia (Rustighello); La Traviata (Gastone), Lo Speziale (Sempronio), Achille in Sciro (Licomede), Betly (Daniele).

In the Rossini repertoire he has performed: Il barbiere di Siviglia (Almaviva), Le Comte Ory (title role), Otello (Rodrigo, Lucio and Gondoliero – Jago on cover); Cenerentola (Ramiro); L’italiana in Algeri (Lindoro) – also sung at the Teatro alla Scala; Le nozze di Teti e Peleo (Jupiter); Il viaggio a Reims (Cavalier Belfiore, Libenskof, Don Luigino) also sung at the Teatro alla Scala; Maometto II (Condulmiero); L’occasione fa il ladro (Don Eusebio); La cambiale di Matrimonio (Edoardo Milfort); Il Turco in Italia (Narciso and Albazar), La scala di seta (Dorvil and Dormont), La Semiramide (Mitrane), Petite Messe Solennelle and Stabat Mater.

He sang: at the Piccolo Regio in Turin, at the Grande in Brescia, Verdi in Trieste, Caio Melisso and Nuovo in Spoleto; Teatro alla Scala, Communal of Florence; Vittorio Emanuele of Messina, Rossini Opera Festival, and Japan tour, Regio of Turin, Carlo Felice of Genoa. La Fenice and Malibran of Venice, Donizetti of Bergamo, Municipal of Sassari, Opera of Rome, Theaters of Piacenza, Reggio Emilia, Modena, Lugo, Busseto and Alfieri of Asti. Chamber Opera of Ingolstadt, Tirolen Landen Theater of Innsbruck, Stadt Theater Regensburg, Opéra Saint Moritz, Real of Madrid, Festival of Lebanon, Opèra da Chambre of Geneva, Bienne, Statt Theater Regensburg and the Vatican; tours in Japan, Oman, Romania and Central America. He carries out an intense concert activity: from Händel’s The Messiah to Bach’s Messa in si minor through Carissimi’s Jephe to Britten’s Rejoice in the Lamb Op. 30 to the recent Messiah (KV572). It has been conducted by numerous conductors including: Abbado, Campanella, Dantone, Kuhn, Mazzola, Noseda, Palumbo, Renzetti, Zambelli, Zedda. Among the directors stand out: Carsen, Del Monaco, Hampe, Juri, Landi, Morassi, Michieletto, Pizzi, Ronconi, Sagi.
